This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle has undergone a frame-off, rotisserie restoration, with nearly every component either rebuilt, upgraded, or replaced during the process. New exhaust, brakes, fuel tank and lines, suspension hardware, wiring, and power features were all part of the build, resulting in a car that presents and drives with the quality of a fresh restoration rather than an older, driven example. The exterior is finished in Cortez Silver with dual black racing stripes, and presents without chips or blemishes of any kind. The interior is equally impressive, with seats, dash, and trim that show essentially no wear and a dashboard free of cracks (aside from an ashtray latch that does not stay closed). Glass and rubber seals throughout are in excellent condition, and all instrumentation and controls operate properly. The car is equipped with power steering and power brakes. Motivation comes from a rebuilt 454cid LS6 engine bearing an E677 casting code, fitted with a Holley single-barrel carburetor and paired with a rebuilt TH400 automatic transmission. A Cowl Induction hood and a 3.73 Posi-Trac rear end round out the drivetrain. The engine starts readily and runs strong through dual exhaust, with smooth, confident power delivery to redline and clean shifts throughout the transmission's range. The car rides on 275R15 tires with substantial remaining tread, mounted on a set of original-style SS wheels. With only 355 miles reported since the completion of its restoration, this Chevelle presents in essentially like-new condition throughout, offering a rare opportunity to acquire a thoroughly finished, high-quality example of the model.
